Esther Schwarzrock

Esther Schwarzrock brings unique music and a diversity of sounds to her performances. Her melodies are catchy and of a very distinctive style. With her expressive voice she can move her audience to get up and dance, bring them to tears or inspire them to stillness. Drawing influences from Germany, Scandinavia and Latin America, her enchanting music is already attracting a buzz of attention. Her songs come from the heart, with lyrics in Spanish, English, Swedish and German. She performs solo or as a duo or trio together with Magnus Peterson (flute, double bass), Judith Retzlik (violin, viola, carillon) and Masataka Koduka (double bass). The trio are sometimes joined by guest musicians on trumpet, saxophone and percussion.
